Simon Herbert Stalls, 57, of Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Simon was a native of Halifax County, the son of the late William Herbert Stalls and Anna Mae Morris Stalls.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vivian Wilson Stalls; two sisters, Vickie Davis of Pasadena, TX and Anna Marie Stalls of Roanoke Rapids; his brother, Allen William Stalls of Nashville, TN; his niece/special daughter, Mary Stone; and his great nephew, Collin Merritt, both of Roanoke Rapids.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Fresh Fire Assembly of God with Rev. Donald Gregory officiating.
